Today we announced that Worklight signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by IBM and will be incorporated as a critical part of its mobile strategy and enterprise mobility portfolio. Since founding Worklight in early 2006, it has been my passion to lead this company to deliver true value to our customers through the best product in the market. Worklight’s “DNA” was always comprised of technological excellence, agility and exceeding customer expectations. In joining the IBM team after close, Worklight will continue to deliver on this promise with extended market reach and a broader mobile technology solution.
Our customers remain our top priority and will continue to benefit from the unmatched capabilities of the Worklight mobile application platform. We will continue to enhance our technology with the same spirit and vision that has made us unique in the mobile landscape.
On a personal note, I would like to thank Worklight employees for their unwavering dedication and hard work over the years. It makes me proud to have such a strong and diversified team by my side, as we join the IBM WebSphere group after close, and stay the course we charted early on.
